Splunk Inc. today announced that Splunk Enterprise is now available through Carahsoft Technology Corp.’s General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule, providing government agencies with immediate access to Splunk’s solutions.

“Splunk is a trusted partner to hundreds of government agencies, and no organization understands better than we do the impact that visibility into machine-generated data can have on improving the availability of IT infrastructures, security and compliance needs and total cost of ownership,” said Bill Cull, vice president of public sector, Splunk. “The addition of Splunk software to Carahsoft’s GSA Schedule further streamlines the process of helping government agencies harness the power of their machine data.”

Splunk software helps government agencies monitor, search and analyze machine data generated by applications, servers, networks, sensors and security devices across the organization. Agencies gain operational intelligence with Splunk software by enabling more effective application management, IT operations management, security and compliance and business analytics – among other use cases.

“Splunk’s cross-silo approach combined with the company’s ability to quickly and easily integrate its solutions with existing IT environments, made the decision to embark on our strategic alliance simple. We are pleased to support Splunk to further serve the public sector by adding its products to our GSA schedule and making these powerful solutions accessible to our government customers,” said Michael Shrader, vice president of Innovative and Intelligence Solutions at Carahsoft.
