    Plenary Group and Serco Inc. Selected as Preferred Bidder for Ontario’s Driver Examination Services

    Plenary Group and Serco Inc. announced they’ve been selected as Preferred Bidder for Ontario’s Driver Examination Services (DES), with both companies working as consortium. The firms will with Infrastructure Ontario to finalize contract details and reach financial close over the coming months.

    “We are proud to be selected as Preferred Bidder to support MTO, and will work with them to ensure the completion of this procurement process,” said Ed Casey, chairman and CEO at Serco.” We will continue ensuring transportation safety across the province and throughout Canada.”

    The project will provide driver examination services in Ontario over a 10-year period.

    “On behalf of all of our consortium partners, Plenary is thrilled to be selected as Preferred Bidder for Ontario’s Driver Examination Services,” said Brian Budden, senior vice president of Plenary Group. “We look forward to achieving financial close in the months ahead and to working with our partners, the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, and Infrastructure Ontario, to deliver quality service for Ontario’s drivers.”
