Todd Drake, CEO of Nlighten Solutions, has just launched Manageurid, an internet privacy protection company. Along with company partner Jack Reis, the firm just introduced ManageURiDProtect – a service that employs proprietary software to detect your personal information on websites that compile personal profiles and then sell your data to anyone willing to pay.
ManageURiDProtect then instructs the removal of your personal information from those sites; and protects you by continuously monitoring for the re-population of those databases and repeating the removal process as necessary. The firm has also launched Indiegogo, a new campaign which allows anyone to take advantage of ManageURiDProtect while at the same time, supporting a victim of domestic abuse or sexual violence.
For every campaign contribution received, the firm will donate a corresponding number of ManageURiDProtect licenses to a victim or victims of abuse. Manageurid has collaborated with the National Center on Domestic and Sexual Violence on the allocation of the licenses donated.
