Reggie Aggarwal, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cvent, was recently selected as a 2013 Top 100 “Tech Titan” by Washingtonian magazine. This is the third time Aggarwal has appeared on the list. Criteria to be selected as a Top 100 “Tech Titan” include having proven track records of success and influence as a leader and visionary in the tech world.

“I am honored to be recognized as a Tech Titan along with other leading technology entrepreneurs in the region,” said Aggarwal. “The caliber of names on this list is a testament to the growth of the DC area as an east coast technology hub and it is truly an honor to be included among such fine company.”

Aggarwal founded Cvent in 1999 as a local two-person start-up and led the company to becoming the world’s largest event management software business. The firm was twice named one of the fastest growing companies in North America by Deloitte and was honored as one of the “Best Places to Work” by the Washington Business Journal four times in the past five years. Aggarwal was named one of the 25 most influential people in the meetings industry by Successful Meetings Magazine in 2012, as well as Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young.
