SECAF Announces Finalists for 5th Annual Government Contractor Awards; MicroPact Among Finalists

The fifth Annual Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF) Government Contractor Awards Gala will take place at the McLean Hilton on May 2, 2013. The awards will honor small and emerging government contractors and players in the industry that support and rely on small business.

“SECAF’s mission is to assist government contractors achieve maximum growth in a highly competitive marketplace. That said, these awards spotlight companies in our community that continually and consistently put forth great effort and produce results that benefit the entire Washington metropolitan area and the government contractor community as a whole,” said Kwesi Rogers, chairman of SECAF and president of Federal National Commercial Credit.

He added, “We believe this year’s finalists are very deserving and in need of recognition for their numerous successes.”

Award Finalists have been announced and they include:

SECAF Government Contractor of the Year (under $6 million in revenue):

  • The Millennium Group International, LLC.

SECAF Government Contractor of the Year ($6 to $12 million in revenue):

  • Allied Associates International
  • Evoke Research and Consulting, LLC.
  • InCadence Strategic Solutions
  • Prescient Edge Corporation
  • VariQ Corporation

SECAF Government Contractor of the Year ($12 to $25 million in revenue):

  • Excella Consulting, Inc.
  • Innovative Defense Technologies
  • MicroPact Inc.
  • QBE
  • TISTA Science and Technology Corporation

SECAF Award of Excellence (under $25 million in revenue):

  • Excella Consulting, Inc.
  • JRC Integrated Systems, Inc.
  • Octo Consulting Group, Inc.
  • Spectre Group International, Inc.
  • Strategic Resolution Experts

Government Project of the Year

  • Atlas Research
  • InCadence Strategic Solutions
  • Potomac Healthcare

The Government Contractor of the Year award recognizes companies that have shown compelling and profound commitment to excellence in financial performance. The SECAF Award of Excellence puts a spotlight on organizations that represent excellence within their respective communities, the government contracting industry, and towards employees. The Government Project of the Year is awarded to a firm that has delivered an exemplary program with significant value to the federal government.
