Washington, D.C. is famous for having a lot of events, and the National Cherry Blossom Festival is not short of that list. The Festival’s Pink Party will take place this year at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel on March 20th from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
DMI’s Sunny Bajaj is on the host committee for the Pink Tie Party, and Lorena Garcia will be the event’s chef. Venezuelan-born Garcia is one of the country’s leading Latina chefs, and has guest-starred on TV shows like “America’s Next Great Restaurant” (as judge) and “Top Chef All-Stars” (as guest chef). There will also be an Auction Spectacular at the event, and all proceeds from the night benefit the National Cherry Blossom Festival, Inc.
