SAVE THE DATE: 3rd Annual INSA Innovators’ Showcase May 16th, Abstracts due March 29th

The Intelligence and National Security Agency (INSA) will be hosting the 3rd Annual INSA Innovators’ Showcase at the NGA Conference Center in Springfield, Va. on Thursday May 16, 2013. INSA is collaborating with ODNI and other Intelligence Community agencies (IC) to provide a forum for R&D-oriented companies to and academia to present their innovative IRAD and other projects in specific research areas. A qualified panel of government scientists and technologists selected by the ODNI will evaluate these research initiatives.

The day-long event will feature about 25 to 30 presentations and 50 to 75 panelists. The topics of interest include the following: Activity Based Intelligence (ABI), Human Cognition & Judgement, Identity Intelligence, Location Based Awareness, Mobility Security/Mobility Device Security and Novel High Performance Computing (HPC).

Abstracts are due for review by March 29, 2013 by INSA’s Council on Technology and Innovation, chaired by Bob Farrell of Seneca Technology Group.

Ambassador Joseph DeTrani was named the new president of INSA in February of this year.
