Oceus Networks Inc. today announced the promotion of Randy Fuerst as its president as well as Jeff Harman as senior VP and general manager of the company’s DOD Solutions business group. Both executives will work with other Oceus senior executive leaders in the transformation of the company as a leading provider of mobility solutions to multiple government entities.

“Both men bring powerful industry expertise and strategic vision to their new roles, which will help position Oceus for further growth and support our mission in providing cutting-edge broadband solutions to tactical and enterprise customers worldwide,” said Douglas C. Smith, chief executive officer of Oceus Networks. “I look forward to working with them and seeing the positive results of their executive leadership in Oceus Networks.”

Fuerst will continue in his role as chief operating officer and will oversee core operational elements that include engineering, product and solutions development, delivery operations, marketing and sales and business development. He has been with Oceus since 2011 and has more than 30 years of industry experience. Fuerst is a member of the Northern Virginia Technology Council and was recently selected to the Board of the Professional Services Council.

In Harman’s new role, he is responsible for driving growth with direct oversight programmatic execution, solutions and competency development, across DOD tactical and enterprise environments. He has joined Oceus with 22 years of industry experience, having previously served as senior vice president and operating group manager for CACI International.
