    ARTEL LLC Announces New Executive Leadership

    ARTEL LLC has recently announced the addition of four new executives to its leadership team. Those executives include Gregory A. Garrett as VP of Managed Network Services, William E. Cleghorn as VP of Solutions Integration and Information Assurance Services, Steve Johnson as VP of Business Development and Jackie Berger as VP of Communications and Marketing.

    Gregory A. Garrett will be responsible for leading the integration of the company’s Network Operations and Managed Network Services organizations into a single business unit. He joins ARTEL after previously serving as President and COO for AST LLC. William E. Cleghorn’s role calls on him to oversee all aspects SI/IA services while delivering operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and growth. Cleghorn comes from STG Inc. where he worked as VP of the Defense Sector

    Engineering Group.

    Steve Johnson’s responsibilities include leading ARTEL’s front-end capture activities, including business development, customer intimacy, identification and qualification of opportunities, and pursuit decisions. He has more than 20 years of experience in the satellite industry and previously served as director for U.S. Government Business Development and Sales at Globecomm Systems Inc.

    Jackie Berger is responsible for ARTEL’s communications and marketing strategies. She has more than 25 years of leadership experience and comes from Harris Corporation where she served as director of Marketing and Communications.
