The predictions are over, we’re well into the new year (hello, February!), and the regular e-magazine is back, stock full of executive interviews in the areas of STEM, talent acquisition, mobility, open source, big data, and women in the industry.

We talk with Yogesh Khanna of CSC on the topic of big data, Accenture’s Annette Rippert, Australian-American businessman Mike Giuffrida, and get into STEM with Sylvia Martinez and Daniel J. Menelly.

There have been several changes and updates in our executive appointments, transitions, and promotions, so be sure to check that out, along with our Wine & Dine columnist’s latest piece on Old Town’s Virtue Feed and Grain.

Learn about the first kick-off event for WashingtonExec’s Strategic Human Capital and Critical- Talent Council, co-chaired by Eleni Antoniou, Vice President of Human Capital at FCi Federal, and Kay Curling, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Salient Federal Solutions. We also covered news on the 3rd Annual Federal Mobile Computing Summit as well as our STEM Council kick-off, featuring Dr. Evan Glazer, Principal of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.

As usual, we provide federal contracting news, business news you need to know, and upcoming events you might want to save the date for, like the 2013 Heart Ball February 23rd, Leukemia Ball March 23rd, and more.
