Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has won a prime contract worth $263 million by the United States Army to provide command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) rapid prototyping, and technology insertion support to the Communications-Electronics Research Development & Engineering Center (CERDEC) Command, Power and Integration Directorate Prototyping, Integration and Testing Division.

“We look forward to expanding our presence at Aberdeen Providing Ground while supporting the Army’s efforts to innovate and implement solutions in specific core competencies of mission command capabilities, mission command computing platforms, power and energy, and C4ISR platform prototyping and integration,” said SAIC’s President of Health, Energy and Civil Solutions Group, Joe Craver.

CERDEC develops and integrates C4ISR technologies and under the contract, SAIC will provide CERDEC with support to perform a variety of tri-service C4ISR prototype systems integration programs, including prototyping, integrating, testing and fielding, and C4ISR technology insertion and related projects.
