The Hyperemesis Education and Research Foundation (HER) is sponsoring the Her5k on May 12 at the National Harbor. Founded and funded by husband and wife team Jeremy and Ann Marie King, along with Kimber Wakefield MacGibbon, the foundation supports the study and education of Hyperemesis, a prenatal condition that causes severe nausea and vomiting that prevents adequate food intake. Both Ann Marie and Kimber were stricken with this illness and had trouble finding physicians who were familiar with it in order to provide a treatment. Since then, both women have teamed up to spread awareness about Hyperemesis, and with Ann Marie’s husband Jeremy, the HER Foundation was formed in 2002 mirziamov.ru.The foundation is looking for at least 600 runners to support the 5k.
