HandshakeMajor General Eric Vollmecke (Air National Guard) has been appointed Special Advisor for Military Veterans and Reserve Affairs for Array Information Technology (ARRAY), the company announced yesterday. The U.S. Air Force traditional reservist will be tasked with building ARRAY’s veteran base by developing policies and practices to recruit and retain those employees who have already served or are still continuing their service in one of the Reserve Components.

ARRAY’s President Sumeet Shrivastava reflected on the company’s commitment to veterans and Vollmecke’s role in continuing that trend saying, “I am deeply grateful that General Vollmecke has agreed to share his valuable time to ensure that ARRAY provides a positive work environment for our Nation’s citizen soldiers.”

General Vollmecke is a 20 year business veteran having served as a senior executive and prior Program Manager for large and small government contracting and technology firms. His knowledge and expertise of the needs and experiences of both military professions and civilian business puts him in the best position to bring about joint success for employees and companies.
