Veteran technology executive Simon Godwin has joined Acentia as Senior Director of Strategy and Solutions. Through the company’s Centers of Excellence (COEs), Godwin will work closely with Acentia’s business unit leads to accelerate program growth, technical maturity, and innovation. He will report directly to Dr. Tom Woteki, Chief Architect of the Strategy and Solutions organization.

“Simon will be a tremendous asset and a genuine trusted advisor to our customers,” said Dr. Tom Woteki. “His experience esigning and delivering high value technical solutions and providing domain-specific thought leadership will help our customers achieve their mission-critical objectives.”

Godwin was previously the Senior Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at Apptis, a $330-million Federal IT services business. Before that, he was SVP and General Manager of Apptis’ Credentialing business and CTO of its National Security Sector, and was also VP and General Manager. Before Prior Apptis, Godwin held a variety of positions at companies like Sapient, SAIC, and BTG.

“Acentia is acutely focused on performance, value, and cost savings,” said Godwin. “I look forward to blending my approach and expertise with Acentia’s capabilities and best practices to provide our customers with innovative solutions to their mission critical needs.”
