WashingtonExec 2013 Government Contracting Outlook Series:

The new year brings big changes for the Federal IT industry, and WashingtonExec is back with its Government Contracting Industry Outlook Series.

We are giving local executives the opportunity to share their thoughts on where they see our industry headed this year and beyond. Leaders were asked a series of questions focused on cloud computing, healthcare IT, defense, mobility, and more.

Roger Krone, President of Boeing Network and Space Systems, gave us his thoughts for 2013:

“I predict in 2013 that the best performers in the aerospace industry will be companies that have adapted to DoD’s renewed emphasis on program execution and cost containment while maintaining the ability to invest and create differences that matter. A critical view of risk and the balance between cost, schedule and technical performance will drive conservative technical solutions with more certainty as to cost and schedule. Providing integrated, affordable mission solutions to customers will always be a path to success.”
