MicroPact’s workforce has expanded by 38 percent in 2012, and the onboarding of more than 50 new employees is a direct result of the success of management software, entellitrak and the recent introduction of the document management platform, entellidoc. Expansion for MicroPact will continue in 2013, beginning with a projected 20 new hires in Q1.
“We attribute our success, particularly in the government sector, to not raising our prices during a tough economic year in 2012,” said Kris Collo, President, CEO and Founder at MicroPact. “We were able to remain competitive in a down market because we have the ability to help agencies replace their legacy infrastructure with systems that are leaner, more flexible and substantially less expensive to maintain.”
Due to this growth, MicroPact is looking to expand the office space of their Herndon, VA location by the end of January 2013. The company also recently implemented a telework program and issued iPads to all personnel as a part of standard team member equipment, enabling remote and teleworking team members to be more connected.
In 2012, MicroPact received 72 project awards across 38 agencies, growing their federal sales by 28 percent. They also had continued sales strength in the public sector and intend to extend its presence in the federal government space.
