Jake Zimmerman recently joined the Public Sector Practice, Foreign Affairs & Diplomacy, of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ (PwC). In his new role, Zimmerman will expand the company’s Advisory Services at the U.S. Department of State (DoS), U.S.Agency for International Development (US AID), and the Millennium Challenge Corporation. Within the firm, he will concentrate on supporting the Foreign Affairs community’s program management and IT initiatives while cultivating strategic relationships within government and industry.

“The breadth and depth of PwC’s capabilities allows me the opportunity to work side by side with our clients, while providing them with industry leading practices, in order to enhance organizational transformation,” said Zimmerman. “The social media movement has changed the speed in which we interpret and communicate data, both locally as well as globally. This new paradigm shift presents State with challenges that must be addressed in real time. PwC’s global network allows us the capabilities to address those challenges immediately.”

Prior to joining PwC, Zimmerman was Director of Business Development at STG, Inc, where he was responsible for leading the company’s U.S. Department of State account while also providing support to STG’s Naval SPAWAR Atlantic client.

Zimmerman is an active member of the DC, NOVA, and Bethesda Young AFCEA Chapters, and the Wounded Warrior Foundation. He earned his B.A. & Sc. in Communications from the University of Colorado – Boulder.
