    In the Moon of Winter Time Choral Arts Gala Held Dec 17th, Raises $625,000

    The 32nd annual Choral Arts Gala, In the Moon of Winter Time was held December 17th at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., raising $625,000.

    In preparation for this year’s gala, several pre-gala bashes were thrown by Choral Arts members and supporters. Gala co-chairs George and Ashley Wilson threw a reception on September 21st at their home, followed by long-time Choral Arts supporters Bill and Karen Schuiling throwing a pre-gala bash on October 26th. Nick and Deborah Smith, also Choral Arts supporters, rounded out the celebrations with their own pre-gala reception on November 8th.

    Tickets for the gala this year ranged from $675 to $775 to $1,000 per person, and prices included concert, dinner, dancing, and the silent auction.
