    Wayne Lucernoni, Harris Corporation

Wayne Lucernoni is set to be acting president of Harris IT, according to an article published in Washington Technology earlier today. He will report directly to Harris Corporation’s President and CEO, Bill Brown, and replaces Ted Hengst, who will now be CEO of Artel, Inc.

Wayne Lucernoni was previously VP and General Manager of Intel, Civil and Healthcare IT within Harris IT Services, and joined Harris in 1990. He has helped with the growth and execution of a portfolio of businesses across federal civilian agencies and departments, as well as within the intelligence community.

Lucernoni has a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University’s School of Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant in Maryland and Virginia.

WashingtonExec spoke with Lucernoni earlier this year; check out the interview on mobility and biometrics here.
