The March of Dimes and Northern Virginia Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association are holding their annual Heroines in Technology award ceremony on November 9.

The black tie gala, hosted by Sabret Flocos, of FOX Architects and Casey Coleman, a federal executive, will be at Hilton McLean Tysons Corner, in McLean, Va.

Each year, select women in the technology industry are acknowledged for their community service. The event has raised over $1 million for the March of Dimes, a national charity for child and maternal health.

Winners will be announced at the event, which will include a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, and dinner.

Tickets start at $200 for AFCEA members and $250 for others, and can be purchased online.
