Doug Wagoner, SAIC

The wheels have been set in motion for a partitioning of SAIC, and Doug Wagoner, who was the company’s Vice President and General Manager of Homeland and Civilian Solutions, is in charge of spearheading the separation, called Project Gemini. Wagoner is now the Senior Vice President for the SAIC Program Manager Office (PMO) and is working directly with SAIC COO, Stu Shea.

Capital Business reported that a team of fifty employees are working to divide SAIC  “into two separate public companies” in the areas of health technology and cybersecurity.

SAIC chief executive John P. Jumper said in the article that decisions on leadership, headquarters, and names will come soon.

Read the full article to see what led to this partition and what else Jumper had to say. WashingtonExec had a chance to speak with Wagoner earlier this year.
