Deep Water Point, a business navigator for federal contractors, has announced that Kathleen Cowles has joined their top level team of principals.

Cowles brings 30+ years of business savvy and federal government knowledge to increase the probability of success for Deep Water Point clients looking to grow their federal government business.

“The partners and I are pleased to welcome Kathleen to Deep Water Point,” said Howard Seeger, managing partner. “Her successes with both global business and government organizations will greatly benefit our clients on numerous levels.”

Cowles most recently served as director of corporate and government affairs for LGS Innovations (LGS), the federal subsidiary of Alcatel-Lucent (ALU), and Bell Labs. Earlier in her career, she spent 12 years abroad in Kenya, Egypt, and Hungary working with the US State Department/US Agency for International Development advancing US business interests, and as a communications and public affairs specialist.

Deep Water Point helps clients accelerate their strategic growth by connecting them to the capture, development, and marketing resources needed to succeed in today’s federal world. The firm supports high-critical IT, infrastructure, human capital and resource planning, and mission systems programs across more than two dozen agencies.
