Fulcrum IT has acquired the Corbin Company, a provider of technology engineering services, including cyber security and sensor technology support.
The acquisition adds to Fulcrum’s current portfolio the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) and the U.S. Army’s Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) Communications- Electronics Research, and Development and Engineering Center’s (CERDEC).
“The additional offerings in Healthcare and HR broaden our potential client base into two very important markets,” said Fulcrum IT CEO Jeff Handy. “Additionally, the engineering services such as those provided to the Army’s Research, Development and Engineering Command bolster our existing innovative technology solutions that can deliver break-through technologies for the next generation warfighter.”
Acquiring Corbin, advised by The McLean Group, allows Fulcrum IT to deliver sensor technology support through Corbin’s prime position on the Warrior Enabling Broad Sensor Services (WEBS) for the NVESD contract, an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract vehicle worth $1.8 billion through 2017.
