The Choral Arts Society of Washington’s George and Ashley Wilson will chair the 32nd Annual Holiday Concert & Gala, “In the Moon of Wintertime.” The gala will be held on Monday, December 17th at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Ambassador Gary Doer of Canada to the United States will serve as honorary patron and Maestro Scott Tucker will conduct his first concert with Choral Arts and under Executive Director Debra L. Kraft and the Chair of the Board of Directors Barbara Rossotti.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Embassy of Canada and their extensive economic resources and wonderful cultural heritage,” said Debra L. Kraft, Executive Director. “This is the first time in 32 years that Choral Arts has partnered with Canada, our good neighbors to the North.”

The gala begins at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall with a magical traditional Christmas concert of choral holiday music. Afterward, guests will continue to the Roof Terrace to enjoy dinner, the band  ‘Round Midnight, and a silent auction, which will feature luxurious trips, fine jewelry, furs, private dinners, embassy access and more.

The Annual Holiday Gala is the Choral Arts Society’s principal fundraising and social event of the year. The 2011 Benefit raised more than $600,000 to help support Choral Arts’ annual season of concerts as well as its educational and community programs.

Gala tickets range from $675 to $1,000 per person and tables of 10 are available. Seating at the 32nd Annual Holiday Concert and Gala is limited. For more information, visit the gala webpage.
