Dovel Technologies won the Enterprise System Life Cycle Management Support (ELM) for the Emergency Operation Network Incident Management System (EON IMS) at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The contract is valued at approximately $11M for one base year plus four one year options.
EON IMS, whom Dovel has been supporting for the past six years, is a critical system in providing timely alerts and tracking resulting actions related with food and drug recalls. It’s accessed by over 900 users as part of the surveillance and preparedness responsibilities to keep the U.S. food supply safe. Dovel’s partner on this work is Learning Systems International (LSI).

Dovel, with this contract, will fully support the FDA in maintaining the existing EON IMS application and provide full life-cycle support for system enhancements, and new development including updates to the system to augment functionality. Enhanced capability will be added to the system to support the following offices and centers within the FDA Center for Food Safety and Nutrition (CFSAN), Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM), Office for International Programs (OIP), and Coordinated Outbreak Response and Evaluation (CORE).
