Digital Management, Inc., (DMI), a leading IT solutions and business strategy consulting firm, announced that DMI and the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA)’s iTable site was one of two winners in the “Driving Digital Government Federal government” category of the 2012 Digital Government Achievement Awards (DGAA).
BEA’s goal with the iTable project was to update its interactive data service, making it easier to access, use, chart and share the Bureau’s statistics. BEA contracted with DMI to build the underlying data delivery infrastructure, and to provide application development support to the BEA teams who built the iTable applications.
“We are very pleased that the iTable app has won the Digital Government Achievement Award,” said Jay Sunny Bajaj, DMI’s President and CEO. “Even more important, we are honored that the Bureau of Economic Analysis relies on us to manage and publish its vital data to millions of users around the world. To us, nothing is more important than the trust we build with clients who rely on us as stewards of their most critical information assets.”
iTable improves information access by providing a common look and feel for users accessing national, international, regional or industry statistics; making the data easier to print, save and export; offering robust and visually appealing interactive charting features; and making the data easier to share with others via a variety of tools.
