Acumen Solutions, the trusted leader in Enterprise Cloud Transformation, showcased its enterprise mobility expertise at the MoDevTablet 2012 conference in Rosslyn, VA on September 14th.

Held at the Artisphere, MoDevTablet 2012 is a mobile development conference about keeping pace in the Tablet era. Acumen Solutions, a gold sponsor for the event, will demo two of their custom iPad applications and also participate in a panel session.

The three-day conference, which has over 400 developers, designers and digital media professionals registered, highlights the latest Tablet devices and the best methods for developing and marketing native, web, and hybrid applications.

“Due to the demands placed on conducting business on mobile devices, it is critical that innovation keeps pace with an ever changing mobile ecosystem,” explained Pete Erickson, organizer of MoDevTablet. “We look to industry leaders like Acumen Solutions who can lend their mobile expertise and share development successes to educate and excite our participants.”

According to the research firm Forrester, enterprise mobility is “the biggest single trend across tech industry investment and innovation.” By 2015, business spending on mobile will grow 100 percent and Gartner reports that by 2013, 80 percent of businesses will support a workforce using tablets. By 2014, 90 percent of organizations will support corporate applications on personal devices.

“We recognize the changing needs of the enterprise mobility ecosystem and our mobile practice strives to be on the forefront of industry knowledge and technology trends,” said Suni Vaidya, director of Enterprise Mobility, at Acumen Solutions. “Leading events like MoDevTablet not only showcase our methodology and the innovative solutions we build for clients, but it also enables us to expand our knowledge base as practitioners and learn from our peers.”

Deepak Gupta of Acumen Solutions was a part of the “The Fastest Growing Segment of Mobile: Government and Enterprise” panel. The panel showcased senior government officials and enterprise experts launching Tablet applications and was focus on lessons learned during the projects. Panelists will predict how mobile applications will meet the needs of the rapidly growing government and enterprise markets.
