Over 1,300 employees and family members of enterprise IT company, NJVC, will be able to enroll in post secondary education at the University of Maryland University College through an agreement announced this week.

“NJVC staff are the company’s greatest asset,” said Jody Tedesco, the company’s president. “NJVC is thrilled about this new corporate partnership with UMUC to offer employees and their families a wide diversity of top-notch educational choices at substantial cost savings to help further their professional careers.”

The college is the largest public university in the country, and will offer its classes to NJVC employees, spouses and dependents worldwide. They will be able to take individual courses or enroll in one of the school’s 120 degree and certificate programs – many of which are online.

UMUC has 20 locations in Maryland, over 150 in countries around the world and is one of the largest providers of pubic education online. Some students will be able to transfer credits from other schools, and those who don’t qualify for in-state tuition will still be eligible for a discount.
