The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency has given a re-compete contract for park meter operation and support to Serco, Inc.

The company has been working with the city for over ten years. It plans to introduce a new online dashboard system for financial reporting to the agency, and GPS tracking and security cameras in its vehicles.

“Serco is proud of the services we have delivered in San Francisco over the past decade,” said Gene Costa, vice president of the company’s ransportation and infrastructure unit.  “We look forward to continuing our support with new enhanced solutions.”

The contract has a five year base period and is worth $43 million.
