Motorola Solutions Venture Capital, the investment arm of Motorola Solutions, Inc., has invested in mobile risk management company, Fixmo, whose Sentinel and SafeZone products help enterprises manage secure mobile devices and protect data. The company plans to use the funds on research and development.

“By offering a layered approach to mobile security and risk management, Fixmo helps organizations manage and monitor their mobile devices and, more importantly, stay in compliance with corporate policies and government regulations,” said Rick Segal, Fixmo CEO.

“We are thrilled to have Motorola Solutions as a strategic investor in Fixmo as we continue down the path of enabling IT organizations to embrace the full potential of mobile devices and apps without compromising on corporate security or compliance.”
