Intelligent Decisions (ID) announced earlier today that it will release the Dismounted Soldier Training System (DSTS) between now and the end of the year to 28 U.S. Army installations worldwide.  DSTS allows U.S. soldiers to train a virtual environment with quality introduction and combat preparedness. The cutting-edge program eliminates the extra costs associated with large training centers. ID will also provide on-site installations and maintenance, with training led by the U.S. Army’s Program Executive Office of Simulation, Training and Instrumentation.

“The Dismounted Soldier Training System is transforming the way soldiers train – creating a more realistic environment, increasing combat readiness, and significantly reducing the traditional expenses associated with large-scale training facilities,” said Harry Martin, ID President and CEO. “Intelligent Decisions is proud to have reached this huge milestone, providing our deploying soldiers with the best available training, and, ultimately, helping ensure they maintain the military advantage.”

The DSTS delivers fully immersive graphics and technology, out-of-the-box ready training, semi-automated forces as well as accurate after action review debriefings.

Read on and find a video and photos about the new system here.

Intelligent Decisions was a sponsor of the 2012 AT &T National held at Congressional Country Club earlier this year.
