The Defense Information Systems Agency has awarded a prime contract to AMERICAN SYSTEMS, an employee-owned company that provides technical and managed services to the government. The contract is for DISA testing and evaluation support.
The company will assist with operation and maintenance of testing tools, labs, networks, infrastructure and administration, and could be responsible for tasks such as testing C4I, AIS and IT/NSS technologies.
“American Systems has extensive knowledge and experience in supporting and working with the test community, and we look forward to continuing to support DISA in providing state-of-the art engineering and technical services,” said Jason Frye, vice president and business unit general manager.
A multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract with a one year base, and four one-year options, it could be worth up to $871,417,098.
