Deborah Ikirt, 2012 Kidney Ball Chairperson

The 32nd annual Kidney Ball will take place at the Omni Shoreham Hotel on November 17, 2012.  The Kidney Ball will feature a reception, gourmet dinning and live and silent auctions.  Don Felder, former lead guitarist of the Eagles and grammy award winner, will perform at the event.

Deborah Ikirt, CEO of Information Innovators, is this year’s Kidney Ball Chairperson. Sponsors for the event include Accenture, Astellas Pharma US, Host Hotels & Resorts, Ronald D. Paul Companies, Sutherland Media Productions, Information Innovators, and IBM. Media sponsors include ESPN980, RCN, and WashingtonExec.

The Kidney Ball will also recognize Michael Kaiser, President of the Kennedy Center. Kaiser cites his greatest accomplishment as donating a kidney to his sister Susan in 1988, prolonging her life for 21 years.

Tickets are $350 each and sponsorships range from $5000 – $50,000.  To learn more, contact Jennifer Jopling at 202-244-7900 ext. 11 or jennifer.jopling@kidney.org.
