AMERICAN SYSTEMS, Inc has appointed Kristen Murphy to Vice President of Capture Management.

James Scampavia, Vice President, Business Development said, “As we continue to grow the depth and breadth of our capabilities and the new business opportunities that accompany the growth, it is critical that we accurately anticipate and fully understand our customers’ requirements.  Her [Murphy’s] ability to transform that understanding into winning proposals and execution plans will help American Systems continue to exceed customers’ expectations.”

Murphy will drive bid strategies, competitive analyses, pricing strategies, and business cases to improve bid win rates.

Murphy has worked in business development for 12 years, most recently as Director of Capture Management for ManTech.  Murphy holds a BA in Communications from James Madison University and an MBA from University of Phoenix.
