    GovMark Council Announces 2012 GovMarks Award Winners

    The GovMark Council, a professional organization which offers networking and educational opportunities to government marketing executives, has announced the winners of its annual GovMarks Awards. The group presented 11 awards to IT marketers; two honored individuals, and the rest excellent government IT marketing programs.

    “We are delighted to honor the winners of this year’s GovMarks Awards,” said Caroline Boyd, GovMark Council general manager. “It is exciting to see the innovative and creative approaches public sector marketers are taking to reach their constituents.”

    Ten judges from the public and private sectors voted on the winners, who include:

    Best Awareness/Educational Program:

    Best Digital Program:

    Utah Department of Technology Services – Utah.gov

    Best Event Program:

    Best Lead Generation Program:

    RightNow/Oracle – Uncle Sam at Your Service: The 2011 Federal Customer Experience Report and Webinar

    GovMark All-Stars:

    Kathy Ditto, Senior Director of Public Sector Marketing, Cisco

    Mark Meudt, Vice President, Communications and Marketing, General Dynamics Information Technology
