Dell Federal has launched its Tactical Mobile Data Center, which allows customers to quickly deploy a powerful and flexible IT infrastructure anywhere to power operation requiring a robust IT backbone. The center allows clients to operate in remote locations and deploy from any location.

Joe Ayers, Vice President and General manager, Dell Federal said, “Many of our military and government customers are forced to quickly deploy to remote environments, like combat outposts in Afghanistan, or even in more developed communities following a natural disaster.  In today’s operational environment in order to have access to the tools and information most organizations need to accomplish their mission, they must also have a robust IT infrastructure, an we’ve designed this solutions specifically to meet the needs of these very special customers.”

The Tactical Mobile Data Center allows government and military customers to deploy IT capabilities anywhere in the world, establish an infrastructure and then re-deploy the infrastructure, allowing for rapid movement in and out of an area of operations.
