The Fairfax Chamber of Commerce will present outstanding the Corporate Citizenship Awards on Wednesday, June 20. The awards will be given to private sector companies and individuals, as well as non-profits. More than 650 members of the Northern Virginia business community, elected officials and community leaders will be in attendance.
Terrence Jones, President and CEO, Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts will be presented the NOVAForward Award. Sidney O. Dewberry, Founder and Chairman Emeritus, Dewberry and John Toups, Former CEO, PRC, will be recognized with the James M. Rees Awards for lifetime achievement.
Attendees are asked to bring a food or monetary donation for the Capital Area Food Bank in conjunction with Governor Bob McDonnell’s “Governor’s Bowl,” a competition between Chambers to end food insecurity in Virginia.
The event will be held at the McLean Hilton Hotel, 7920 Jones Branch Drive McLean, VA 22102 from 11:30 am- 1:30pm.
