    Salient Federal Solutions Kay Curling Wins Human Resource Leadership Awards of Greater Washington

    Kay Curling, senior vice president and chief human resource officer of Salient Federal Solutions, Inc. (Salient), is one of this year’s winners of the Human Resource Leadership Awards (HRLA) of Greater Washington. The awards recognize distinction in the field of human resources among Washington area business.

    She was also a finalist of the Dr. J.P. London Award for Prompting Ethical Behavior.

    Curling is credited with being a leader in decision making at Salient, which provides information technology, engineering and intelligence analysis services to intelligence, defense, homeland security and federal civilian agencies.

    She helped launch a new set of employee benefit plans with decreased costs to employees, and created a company wide performance management system. Curling also designed a compensation program and merit structure, aligning pay with recruitment and retention objectives.
