Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) announced it was awarded a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) 2011 Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) Contractor Excellence Award (CEA). SAIC was recognized in the Large Business-Service category for contributions to the Marshall Space Flight Center’s (MSFC) mission.
SAIC provides information technology services for MSFC including software development and maintenance, mission-critical IT implementation, operations and maintenance, telecommunications, and network management. SAIC was honored based on its performance in three major contracts, the NASA Information Technology Services (UNITeS) contract, the IT Infrastructure Integration Program (I3P), and the NASA Integrated Communications Services contracts (NICS).
Doug Wagoner, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager said, “SAIC is honored to received the MSFC CEA award. We have a long history of service to NASA, and this award is a testament to our employees for their commitment to providing excellent support for the MFSC mission.”
SAIC is now a finalist for the NASA George M. Low Award, which recognizes quality and performance in the aerospace industry.
