    QinetiQ North America Awarded $17 Million U.S. Army Contract

    QineitQ North America (QNA) has been awarded a contract to deliver a Condition-Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) pilot system supporting the U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) in Warren, Michigan.  The three year contract has an estimated $17 million value.

    QNA will provide analytical tools and an autonomic logistics systems to collect and analyze operational data on 2000 tactical wheeled vehicles worldwide.  QNA’s work will give the Army efficient, innovative and cost effective CBM+ solutions for the Tactical Wheeled Vehicle Pilot Program.

    David Shrum, EVP and general manager of QNA’s Engineering and Life Cycle Management business unit said, “Our extensive experience with the Army in field maintenance data collection is very important to successfully supporting TACOM’s CBM+ requirements under this new contract.  That experience and our detailed knowledge of the customer and their mission will allow us to provide the U.S. Army with a low-cost solution that maximizes efficiency.”
