INDUS Corporation and two small, disadvantaged health information technology companies, Digital Infuzion, Inc. and Armedia, LLC, have been awarded the Health Informatics and Information Technology Solutions (HIITS) Contractor Team Arrangement (CTA) award from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Information Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC).
Shiv Krishnan, INDUS chairman and CEO, said that the company formed the HIITS CTA, together with DIFZ and Armedia, to support NITAAC’s vision focusing on a fresh approach to health-related missions, energized by new and unencumbered leadership delivering proven IT services and solutions.
Under this 10-year contract, valued up to $20 billion, the companies can compete for task orders to provide a wide range of health IT services. It gives government agencies a way to order IT solutions and services at reasonable prices.
“We are excited about this opportunity to partner with NITAAC to bring best-in-class capabilities to support our government’s critical health IT mission,” said Krishnan.
