The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded General Dynamics a contract to support the department’s Tactical Communications Equipment and Services (TaCom) Program.
If all options are exercised, the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract has a potential value of $3 billion to all 30 awardees over five years.
“We will leverage General Dynamics’ unique experience working with the department and our legacy online pokies games of providing tactical communications and infrastructure systems for national security missions to meet Homeland Security’s critical requirements,” said Jerry DeMuro, Executive Vice President of General Dynamics’ Information Systems and Technology group.
In compliance with the TaCom contract, General Dynamics will deliver a full array of tactical communications products, infrastructure and service to DHS and its partner agencies, departments and components.
General Dynamics is headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia.
