Deloitte announced this week that it has acquired IE Discovery. IE Discovery provides electronic discovery (e-discovery) support primarily to federal government clients. Using the company’s e-discovery services, legal teams can focus on case strategy.

“IE Discovery has supported e-discovery for thousands of matters in support of U.S. federal government agencies,” said Robin Lineberger, CEO of Deloitte’s Federal Government Services practice. “We look forward to leveraging IE Discovery’s significant experience to help Deloitte’s federal clients navigate the challenges presented by government litigation.”

Deloitte LLP provides analytic and forensic technology services, including e-discovery. With its subsidiaries, including Deloitte Federal Government Services, the company offers consulting, financial advisory, audit and enterprise risk, and tax services.

“Both Deloitte and IE Discovery have deep experience serving federal agencies,” said Chris May, chief executive officer, IE Discovery. “Deloitte’s scalability and relationships with top government agency executives, and its strong commercial e-discovery practice, will help us all to continue to grow a leading federal e-discovery practice.”
