CACI International Inc. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Paul M. Cofoni intends to retire as of December 1, 2012, the company announced June 6.

The CEO transition will begin July 1, as Cofoni assumes the role of Chief Advisor to the Executive Chairman of the Board, Dr. J.P. London.

“I am so proud to have led CACI’s talented professionals whose pride in their work can be seen every day in the innovative solutions they provide to our clients, who have the most important missions in the world in serving our citizens and protecting our nation,” said Cofoni.

Cofoni was named CEO in July 2007 and was named Government Contractor Executive of the Year in 2011.

Daniel D. Allen, the current President of U.S. Operations, will be appointed President and CEO of CACI.

“I look forward to working with Dan Allen and the valuable experience and strength he brings to our company,” said Dr. London.
CACI is a member of the Fortune 1000 Largest Companies and has over 120 offices in the U.S. and Europe.
