    SRA International Wins $19 Million FBI Operational Response Contract

    SRA International, Inc. has won sole award under the  U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) operational response and investigative online network (ORION) program. The $19 million award, if all options are exercised, includes one base year with seven one-year options.

    ORION, the next generation crisis information management system for the FBI, processes federal, state, local and tribal law crisis case management scenarios. Examples include political conventions, well-attended sporting events or terrorist threats.

    “We are proud of the confidence the FBI has shown in SRA over the last 13 years and look forward to continuing our work together to ensure the stafely of the American public,” said Jim McClave, Vice President of Law Enforcement and Justice Programs at the FBI. “This project is indicative of the mission-focused IT work being performed by SRA’s intelligence, homeland security and law enforcement professionals every day.”

    SRA International has agreed to provide operational maintenance and support, program management, as well product development for ORION.
