QinetiQ North America (QNA) named Mark J. Nappi senior vice president and program manager of the Engineering Services Contract at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Friday. In this role, Nappi will oversee the day-to-day activities of contract efficient execution at QinetiQ North America .
Nappi previously spent 17 years with United Space Alliance, leaving as the vice president of aerospace services and site director. Prior to the United Space Alliance, Nappi spent 10 years at Lockheed Martin.
“With 27 years of on-site experience at KSC, Mark’s prior experience will bring strong leadership and direction to our ESC team, enabling them to continue to bring cost-effective proactive solutions to our customer,” said QinetiQ North America’s vice president and general manager of Aerospace Operations and Support business unit, Joe Broadwater.
Nappi earned both his Bachelor of Science degree in ocean engineering and his Master of Science in management business and organizational behavior from the Florida Institute of Technology. He also serves on the board of directors of local universities, National Space Club and the United Way of Brevard.
