Dr. Craig Reed and John Heller have been appointed to L-3 Services Group’s (LSG) executive leadership team, the company announced in April.

Reed and Heller will report to Tony Smeraglinolo, executive vice president of LSG, who will be appointed Engility’s CEO upon completion of the spin-off.

“Both are demonstrated strategic leaders within our core services markets and will contribute new perspectives to fuel our growth in the current environment,” said Smeraglinolo, LSG executive vice president.

Implementation plans for the Engility spin-off will be assisted by Reed and Heller. Once the transaction is complete, they will transition to Engility.

Reed was senior vice president, strategy and corporate development at DynCorp International prior to joining LSG.

Heller recently served as president of Harris IT Services and has more than 25 years of IT leadership experience.

L-3 Services Group is based in Alexandria, Va., and has more than 15,000 personnel working across the word.
