Today Six3 Systems, Inc., a leading intelligence, reconnaissance and national security provider, announced that it will be acquiring  Ticom Geomatics, Inc. (TGI).

TGI, a leader in Geolocation and ISR systems and services, creates and deploys core Tactical ISR/SIGINT mission products. These products are then used throughout the national security industry to identify, track, and target current and emerging threats.

Six3 Systems was launched in April 2009 with the partnership of private equity firm GTCR (headquartered in Chicago) and Robert Coleman and Jack Pearlstein. TGI marks the company’s fourth acquisition since 2009.

“TGI’s expertise in Tactical precision Geolocation and COMINT is a perfect complement to our strong capabilities in the National ISR/SIGINT and Cyber market,” said President and CEO of Six3 Systems, Robert Coleman.  “Together we will be able to offer our customers comprehensive solutions and services that span from National through Tactical ISR needs and address all elements of the Multi-INT market.  This is increasingly important as the National Security community expands its reliance on real-time sensor data to support Activity-Based Intelligence (ABI) requirements.”

“We are all very excited to join with Six3 Systems,” said founder and President/CEO of TGI, Mark Leach.  “Our Joint Service and National Intelligence Community customers have been looking for TGI to extend our capabilities to support their mission requirements as they move throughout the Cyberspace/SIGINT continuum.  Our merger with Six3 achieves that goal.”
