Sevatec was awarded a $30+ million contract with the State Department to provide Content Management Services (CMS) to the Bureau of International Information Programs (IIP) late last week.

The contract includes a base period and four option year periods. Terms of the agreement provide that Sevatec will offer technical and operational support services including program management, software app development, operations and maintenance, metrics and reporting, customer service, as well as help desk services and training support for 400+ public websites, 600 production sites, and over 1,200 end-users.

These services will sustain information outreach to U.S. Embassies in more than 140 countries as well as the dissemination of critical information U.S. citizens need during emergencies.

Sonny Kakar, Sevatec President and CEO released a statement saying:

“This opportunity is indicative of the mission-focused work that Sevatec performs, and the impact that we have on the well-being of the American people every day,” said Sonny Kakar, President and CEO. “IIP serves a critical role in its ability to support U.S. foreign policy goals and national security interests. We have the opportunity to support the CMS Program by integrating, improving, and implementing a variety of information initiatives to maximize outreach efficiency. I can’t think of a more exciting time for Sevatec to expand our long-standing partnership with DoS than on the CMS contract.”
