SAIC announced last week that it was awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic to provide networking, joint base and technology transition services in support of the warfighter. The multiple-award, IDIQ contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a cumulative total for all orders of approximately $230 million.

“SAIC is extremely pleased to support SSC Atlantic and the warfighter in their efforts to solve complex problems and provide support in the areas of testing, training and other IT services,” said Thomas Watson, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager.

Under the contract, SAIC will provide joint basing and technology transition support as required, including: program management, C4ISR systems support, material technology and testing support, IT services, joint warfighter advanced training and education support, and technology road mapping.
